General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Members
1) Marine Care Association collects and keeps record of the personal information of its members to ensure the members can enjoy fully the benefits of membership. This personal information includes the member’s name, affiliation, e-mail and phone contact. This information is collected to ensure timely communication between the members, elected Marine Care Association officials and Marine Care Association office to ensure that the members can exercise all membership benefits guaranteed by Marine Care Association constitution and Bylaws.
2) This communication includes:
- Dissemination of the information about Marine Care Association organized or Marine Care Association sponsored events like such as conferences, workshops etc..
- Distribution of Marine Care Association financial statements and reports of Marine Care Association elected officials.
- Dissemination of news of general interest to the Society.
- Membership and/or registration dues records.
3) Members can update/modify their personal information by sending a request to info@Marine Care Association.com.
4) This personal information, or part of it, may be made available to Marine Care Association active members in Marine Care Association address book.
5) The personal information is retained securely by Marine Care Association and Marine Care Association will not share it with third parties. Marine Care Association may be forced to provide this information if compelled by law to do so.
6) Unless otherwise requested by email to info@Marine Care Association.com, Marine Care Association will keep electronic records of any expired membership for a period of 5 years.
7) By paying the annual membership dues you provide an explicit consent to this data privacy policy.

Marine Care Association is not liable for travel, health, accidents or injury to members or damages caused by members while attending and travelling to or from the meetings. Members are advised to carry adequate personal insurance covering damages, travel and health.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. You hereby submit to and agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any actions that may arise under or in relation to the subject matter hereof shall be the courts located in Belgium.
