Our mission is to promote and advance the interests of companies active in the sectors of ship waste management and the use of adequate port reception facilities worldwide.
The association provide a unique platform for PRF, upstream and downstream players to network, exchange good practices, propose solutions for harmonized legislations and standards worldwide. If our business is done locally, it is part of a global business which needs to be thought globally in relationship with the other players of the maritime industry.
The role of the association is also to increase the visibility of the tremendous work achieved by PRF both to protect the marine environment thanks to the collection of ship waste, and to transform waste into new resources.
Our vision is to take an active role in safeguarding our unique hearth by first, offering solutions to preserve the marine environment of any waste discharge from ships and second, facilitating/contributing to a circular economy
